Frequently Asked Questions

Our program is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 11. Runners will be split into age-appropriate pacing groups during weekly meets.
We run approximate distances tailored to school grade groups to keep the matches fun and achievable:
  • Pre-K: ~35 Yards
  • Kindergarten & 1st Grade: ~1/4 Mile
  • 2nd & 3rd Grade: ~1/2 Mile
  • 4th & 5th Grade: ~1 Mile
Please ensure your young runner arrives in comfortable athletic clothing and sneakers. We strongly recommend bringing a water bottle labeled with your child's name for hydration between laps.
Registration is $30 per participant. Every dollar of profit from this program goes directly to the American Heart Association to support cardiovascular health research and local public health education.
In the event of heavy rain or inclement weather, we will send out an email notification directly to all registered parents at least 2 hours prior to start time. Weather make-ups will automatically roll to scheduled slots during the following Sunday.
